The Chamber of Auditors and Expert Accountants of Armenia implements an educational programme that awards a qualification of a professional accountant and auditor in accordance with the standards of the International Federation of Accountants (hereinafter referred to as “IFAC”), which includes conducting relevant courses and exams for at least two sessions per year.

Training courses and exams conducted by the Chamber are consistent with International educational standards of IFAC․  Еxamination programme is defined on the basis of 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th educational standards of IFAC.

The IFAC educational standards specified the nternational requirements for the training of a professional accountant and auditor, including the international requirements required for ensuring the professional experience in education and sustainable professional development.

The results of the qualifications exams are recognized by ACCA as exemptions from the exams conducted in accordance with the latter.

Training is conducted on the basis of updated examination textbooks, in accordance with IESs.

Qualifications are issued for an indefinite period of time.

Trainings are held by people with high professional standing in the field of accounting and auditing. Both the business community and the public authorities are highly interested in these trainings.
Qualification programme of the Chamber contains the following subjects:

1. Financial accounting
2. Financial information for management
3. Business law
4. Tax legislation of the Republic of Armenia
5. Financial management and control
6. Financial reporting
7. Audit and internal control

After successful completion of the Qualification programme of the Chamber, and in case the attendees, in addition to this, have higher education and the professional work experience required, they will be awarded qualifications of an expert accountant and (or) auditor conforming to the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Armenia and International education standards of IFAC. То qualify as an expert accountant it is required to pass the first six, and to qualify as an auditor — all seven subjects of the examination   programme.
Attendee is considered as having passed the passing grade, where he or she has earned 50 percent or more of the scores set for the given subject.
Issues related to the organization and holding of qualification examinations are regulated by the procedure for conducting qualification examinations of the Chamber of Auditors and Expert Accountants of Armenia.
